Lamb & Apricot Tagine

There are many lamb dishes we at St. Dalfour are sure will get your taste buds tingling. But as its Spring, why not combine the two ingredients which are in season and make our Lamb & Apricot Tagine!

This slow cooked pot of delight allows its contents to merge into one tender, juicy dinner the whole family will enjoy!

1 tbsp butter

2 diced red onions

3 garlic cloves

1 tbsp ginger paste

1 cinnamon sticks

2 tsp crushed coriander seeds

1 lb cubed spring lamb

8 dates

1 jar of St. Dalfour Apricot preserve

Zest 4 oranges

2 tbsp St. Dalfour Classic Honey

Pinch of salt and pepper

Pomegranate seeds


Add all the ingredients to a slow cooker and leave to cook for at least 4 hours

Yes – It’s that simple!

Sprinkle pomegranate seeds on top to finish

Serve and enjoy!
