Delicious Homemade Ice Cream with St. Dalfour

So simple and yet so delicious – ice cream has been a staple dessert in the UK for many years. Vanilla and chocolate are favoured by most but we at St. Dalfour think there is a better alternative. One that has the traditional creaminess of conventional ice creams but with a rich, delicious and natural fruity twist! With 21 flavours on offer, our delicious preserves allow you to take control and alter the flavour of your ice cream in the easiest way possible… just a spoonful of fruity goodness!

1 Jar of St. Dalfour Preserve (any flavour of your choice!)

1 can of sweetened condensed milk

500ml double cream

1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

Combine the condensed milk, double cream, vanilla extract and St. Dalfour Preserve of your choice into a metal bowl.

Using either an electric or hand whisk, mix until combined and thick.

OPTIONAL EXTRA: If you like a rippled ice cream, fold in some preserve before freezing, creating a marbled effect.

Transfer your ice cream into a freezer container, cover with cling film and freeze until solid.

TIP: why not re-use an old ice cream tub?

Serve and enjoy!
